Western CAP Network covers about one third of the state and services 79 schools and their communities. The Region includes the major regional centres of Bourke, Mudgee, Dubbo and Broken Hill.
In addition, students in remote locations are serviced by a variety of interactive learning experiences delivered through Distance Education Centres at Dubbo, Bourke, Walgett, Broken Hill and Tibooburra.
This area is a vast and sparsely–populated region of NSW, rich in the story of outback Australia with sun-scarred expanses, spectacular ranges, a complex mosaic of plant and animal life, ancient landscapes, heritage towns, Aboriginal culture and World Heritage listed national parks.
