Congratulations! You have won a family holiday to beautiful Amazonia. When you arrive at Amazonia there will be a range of exciting activities to do.

Task

Which 5 items will you take on your holiday so that you can do as many activities as possible?

Points to consider

• What types of activites you can do in Amazonia?
• What will be the most useful items to take?
• How many activities can be done with each item?

Step 1: Print out worksheet.

Step 2: Click on different parts of Amazonia to discover the types of activities that you can do. Write the 5 different activities on the worksheet.

Step 3: Click on each item to find out what activities you can do with them. On the worksheet tick the item that is useful for each activity.

 Step 4: What do I do now?

• Complete the worksheet.
• Choose 5 of the items that you think are most useful.
• Circle them on your worksheet.

Step 5: Presentation

• Present your work using ClarisWorks/AppleWorks or KidPix Deluxe / Kid Pix Three
• Include a picture of each item chosen and say why you chose it.
• Make sure to include what activities you can do with each item.
