Background Information

Classifying animals helps you to learn about different types of animals, what they look like, where they live and how they survive.

 

Task

You have been given an exciting job, your school is setting up a wildlife park in a section of the playground.

You must choose and investigate five animals which could be put in the park and of these choose the three most suitable.

 

Points to consider

* How big is your playground?

* Where in the playground will the park be located?

* What animals would be the best to put in the wildlife park and why?

Step 3 - What do I do now?

* Complete your animal fact sheet.

* Choose your three animals to be included in the wildlife park and say why.

* Draw a map of your playground and show where the wildlife park will be.

 

Step 4 - Presentation

* Present your work as a slide show using KidPix Deluxe / Kid Pix Three

* Include - a photo or picture of each and say why you chose each animal.
