Step 3

What do I do with the information?
Record all relevant information for your three endangered animals in note form on the summary chart.
As a group analyse the information and decide which of the three animals you will promote as the one to gain the assistance.
Your must include your reasons for selecting this particular animal.

From your research you must decide what can be done to assist the survival of this animal and devise a plan to implement it.

Step 4

Presentation

You and your group must prepare an oral presentation of your report. It should include:

1. A brief description of the animal.
2. A description of the animal's habitat
3. What does this animal eat?
4. Where is the animal found?
5. Why is the animal endangered?
6. What action is being taken to protect this animal?

PLUS

Your reasons why you selected this particular animal (after researching three)
Suggestions on how to assist the survival of this animal

You and your team must now present the information to the class. It must include:

  • relevant information on all three researched animals
  • pictures, illustrations and maps to support your data
